Offering a job in exchange for an endorsement? Where have you been? This is the most common way to get an endorsement. Have you ever heard, “vote for me and I'll put two chickens in every pot”? It’s not bribery, its a campaign promise. Unless you’re saying “vote for me and I'll forgive your student loans” is bribery.

Again, not an attorney, but I've watched many attorneys take apart this case and it's problems. I've seen both left and right wing attorneys who say this case is doomed as soon as it gets to a competent appelate court that will strictly apply the law, so overturn will quickly follow sentencing.
